Kosa Hotel & Wellness Center is a central Khon Kaen choice with a long-established hotel atmosphere, larger room options and a dining-and-wellness identity. Guest reports make the location and breakfast attractive, while bathroom performance is less consistent. It suits a city-based temple journey better than a traveller looking for a remote retreat.

01

Use the current identity and the Srichan Road address

The hotel’s website identifies Kosa at 250–252 Srichan Road. Agoda’s current name is Kosa Hotel & Wellness Center, replacing the older Shopping Mall wording retained in some listings. The address and continuing property identity are more useful for locating it than treating the old suffix as evidence of a separate hotel.

The official site presents rooms, cuisine, meeting spaces, wellness services and long-stay options. These describe a substantial city operation. A traveller choosing it for a short temple trip should focus on the room and services they will actually use rather than assume that the wellness name means a treatment is included.

02

The Deluxe and Junior Suite offer different amounts of room

Agoda shows Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twin rooms at 32 square metres, with a double bed or two single beds respectively. The Junior Suite is listed at 48 square metres. That is a useful step in space, especially for someone carrying more luggage or spending time in the room between outings.

A category name is still more dependable than borrowing features from a guest’s photograph. An April 2026 Superior Twin visitor liked a balcony with plants and the room’s outlook, but that individual report does not establish a balcony for every Deluxe or suite. Make that distinction if an outdoor space is central to the decision.

03

Bathroom accounts are genuinely mixed

A June 2025 Deluxe Double guest liked the comfortable bed, power strip and the retained bathtub. An April 2026 Superior Twin guest described a very clean bathroom and effective cooling. Those positive accounts concern particular rooms and provide reasons not to dismiss the property simply for its age.

A September 2026 Booking.com guest displayed through Agoda reported weak warm-water flow and cold showers during the stay. That is a material counterpoint to the cleaner-room accounts. The evidence does not justify saying that every shower fails, but someone whose comfort depends on predictable hot water should weigh it seriously.

04

A restaurant evening may be as useful as the pool

The June 2025 guest described a relaxed evening restaurant with live music, breakfast variety and locally made silk products for sale. Those details make the hotel more than a place to leave a bag. The music and menu described were features of that visit, rather than a promised programme for a future night.

A September 2026 Booking.com guest praised the pool, gym and breakfast selection. Another December 2025 Superior Double visitor liked the room’s city view, quiet atmosphere and convenient access to meals. Their accounts suggest a practical city stay with places to spend time on site, while leaving the bathroom caution intact.

05

Choose it for a central base, then arrange the temple visits

For Wat Nong Wang, plan the route to the Bueng Kaen Nakhon area from the actual Srichan Road address. For Phra That Kham Kaen, arrange the separate road excursion. A central hotel simplifies the urban side of the trip without turning the more distant chedi into a walk from the lobby.

Kosa is most convincing when its restaurant setting, room size and central position match the trip. The upgrade to a Junior Suite is a space decision, not proof of a newer bathroom. Travellers looking for a predictable modern room standard may prefer to give the conflicting maintenance accounts more weight than the hotel’s breadth of services.
