Gallery Lake View is beside the Bueng Kaen Nakhon area, making the lakeside setting its clearest reason to enter a Khon Kaen shortlist. The name should not be read as a guarantee that every room faces the lake. Guest reports and the listed room categories make the actual outlook and bed arrangement worth checking carefully.

01

The location is more specific than a city-centre label

The hotel’s own website gives 135/101 on Bueng Kaen Nakhon Reservoir Road. Its setting can appeal to someone planning Wat Nong Wang and a city stay around the lake. That geographical relationship is useful without turning it into a verified walking duration to the temple entrance.

The official site presents a lake-side property with balconies. A January 2025 Superior Double or Twin guest, however, reported a balcony facing an old building rather than water. That direct contrast matters more to a view-focused traveller than the general promise in the hotel name.

02

Compare the Superior and Triple by their actual arrangement

Agoda lists the Superior at 30 square metres, with Double or Twin bedding under the combined category. The Deluxe Triple is listed at 52 square metres, with one double plus one single or three singles among the supplier arrangements. That is a meaningful area and bed difference for a small group.

A Triple label still deserves an explicit bed check. Someone requiring three separate beds should not assume that every three-person offer uses that configuration. The larger room may be useful for a family even when its outlook is less important than having enough space and the appropriate sleeping arrangement.

03

Lake access and a lake view are different things

A June 2026 Superior guest on Trip.com liked a lake outlook and the clean room. A February 2026 visitor found the lake frontage cordoned off during that stay. The latter account does not prove a current closure, but it shows why choosing a view and planning to use the immediate public frontage are separate decisions.

The January 2025 Superior guest also found the room spacious and the combined bed very comfortable despite the disappointing outlook. That account offers a more balanced assessment than treating an obstructed view as evidence that the room itself had no merit.

04

Guest reports vary on breakfast and room condition

A May 2026 Superior guest praised breakfast choice, while an April 2026 visitor described a set breakfast as acceptable. These individual descriptions do not establish one fixed menu or serving format for every date. Keep the room offer’s actual breakfast inclusion separate from a guest’s preference.

The less favourable accounts are specific as well. A January 2026 Superior guest reported a musty, damp room and poor bathroom cleanliness. A June 2026 Triple guest found the room somewhat dark while liking the service. Other visitors in 2026 described clean, spacious rooms and convenient parking. The evidence points to mixed room experiences rather than one condition shared by the whole building.

05

A focused lakeside city stay

The location is relevant for an itinerary centred on Wat Nong Wang and Bueng Kaen Nakhon. Phra That Kham Kaen remains a separate excursion outside this immediate city setting, so arrange the outward and return travel independently. Gallery Lake View does not provide a temple-side shortcut simply because the two shrines are in Khon Kaen province.

The hotel is most persuasive when the lake-area base itself is useful and the chosen room’s outlook is clear. A traveller buying primarily for a guaranteed water panorama should resolve that exact category before committing. For a group, the 52-square-metre Triple can be a more concrete reason to choose the property than the general lake-view wording.
