Start with the official room range
The official website lists Avani King and Twin rooms at 30 square metres, with Premier rooms at 37 square metres and Junior Suites at 53 square metres. Skyline versions add a different outlook category. The area change and bed arrangement are concrete distinctions; a view label alone does not mean the bedroom is larger.
The hotel’s official range also includes an Executive Suite at 65 square metres and a Royal Suite at 93 square metres. Agoda has a 63-square-metre Executive Suite label, so the exact offer should be compared by current category description rather than assuming every similarly named suite has identical dimensions.
A suite or a higher view answers a different question
Someone spending most of the day out at temples may find a 30-square-metre King or Twin sufficient. A traveller returning to the hotel to rest, work or sit apart from the bed has a more specific reason to look at the larger categories. The official suite descriptions, rather than the convention-centre name, should guide that choice.
A July 2026 Premier-room guest liked the large king bed and the room itself. Another guest who stayed in a Premier room in December 2025 praised the spacious bathroom and bathtub. Those are individual room experiences and should not be borrowed to promise a bath in every standard room.
Guest accounts favour the service and room comfort
A March 2026 Avani Twin visitor praised cleanliness and attentive staff. An October 2026 Booking.com guest displayed through Agoda likewise liked the staff, room and facilities. The accounts are consistent in tone, but they do not establish that a particular language-speaking employee or personal service will be available on every shift.
The July guest found some Japanese-language assistance useful. That is a helpful example of staff support during one stay, not a guaranteed multilingual desk policy. It is better to describe that experience carefully than turn it into a promise on behalf of the property.
Allow time to use the hotel if those facilities influence the choice
The December 2025 Premier-room account enjoyed the pool and breakfast, while the official site presents a broad room-and-convention operation. A traveller who intends to return after a morning temple visit may value that hotel setting more than someone leaving before breakfast every day.
One October 2026 Booking.com guest explicitly said the schedule was too tight to use breakfast. That small detail is useful when judging value: a facility can be attractive without contributing much to a particular stay. Do not let a long amenity list substitute for the way the trip will actually be paced.
Transport and the temple itinerary
The hotel’s own travel advice recommends a taxi or its private transfer service because public transport is inconvenient. That is a more relevant starting point than promising an easy local-bus connection from the room. The transfer’s price and availability are not established by that general recommendation.
Wat Nong Wang can be approached as a separate city outing. Phra That Kham Kaen requires an outward road trip, so agree a vehicle and return plan rather than choosing Avani simply because it is in the same province. The hotel makes sense for travellers wanting a full-service urban base and a meaningful range of room sizes; it is less compelling if the schedule leaves no time to use that setting.
