The official website organises the accommodation into Indigo, Forest and Villa wings. It presents locally handmade decoration and the Mekong setting as central to the stay. The different wings should be compared as parts of this property, rather than assumed to be interchangeable room arrangements.

The river location also changes the itinerary. This is Khong Chiam, not central Ubon Ratchathani and not the grounds of Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao. A visit to the hilltop temple requires a separate road outing; an evening visit needs a return vehicle plan as well as an outward ride.

Agoda’s current room list includes a 48-square-metre Executive King Room and a 48-square-metre Deluxe King Room with Balcony, both with river outlooks. Its Mekong Villa is listed at 52 square metres. These options should be compared by their actual arrangement, because a villa label alone does not imply twice the area of a room.

The same list shows a 120-square-metre Pool Villa and a 134-square-metre River Villa. A garden-view villa appears at 96 square metres with twin beds, a bunk bed and two bathrooms. Those are substantial differences in space and sleeping arrangement; they do not make a private pool an automatic feature of every villa category.

Expedia’s current property page also carries the Tohsang Heritage Khongjiam name, continuing the older Sedhapura booking listing. It lists multiple room types, including a 26-square-metre Classic King River View and a Pool Villa entry with a different area from Agoda’s label.

Do not combine a photograph from one channel with an area or feature from another and treat the result as a single guaranteed room. The useful comparison is the exact named category and included features on the offer being considered, particularly for the larger villas.

An August 2026 Trip.com Deluxe King Balcony guest enjoyed the location but found parts of the hotel worn. That guest reported an ordered breakfast during quieter periods and a buffet when occupancy was higher. A May 2026 Classic River View guest separately disliked the restriction on ordering the main course and found reception less attentive.

The accounts make breakfast format a variable rather than a guaranteed extensive buffet. In contrast, January 2026 guests in Classic River View and Superior Twin River View rooms liked the relaxed setting and views. A February 2026 Family Garden Villa guest praised service. These reports describe different categories, not one room seen repeatedly.

A March 2025 Deluxe King Balcony guest reported a category substitution during renovation, uncomfortable bedding and faulty air-conditioning controls, while liking the river view and restaurant food. That is a dated individual complaint. It does not establish a current closure, continuing renovation schedule or the condition of every present room.

A July 2026 Expedia guest, after five nights, praised staff professionalism. Taken together, the evidence supports considering Tohsang for its river atmosphere and broad accommodation choice, while giving the actual room offer and mixed service-and-breakfast accounts proper weight. It is especially appealing when the trip leaves time for the setting itself; it is less convenient as a substitute for an Ubon city address.
