The bed choice is clearer than the category hierarchy
Agoda’s current Superior and Deluxe entries are both 24 square metres. Superior lists a king bed and Deluxe lists two singles. The Suite rises to 36 square metres and shows a king bed. Those differences make the actual sleeping arrangement more useful than a simple progression from Superior to Deluxe.
Trip.com independently lists Deluxe with two singles and Superior with a king, matching the bed distinction. A couple who prefers one bed should not select Deluxe simply because it sounds like an upgrade. Travellers sharing with a friend have a clearer reason to choose that Twin category.
The Suite’s additional area may be worthwhile for a longer stay or more luggage, but a property photograph of a spacious room should not be treated as a picture of every 24-square-metre category. The room selected and the general hotel gallery are different sources of information.
The city setting comes with a particular approach
Current Booking.com and Trip.com entries identify 72 Charoenpanich Road. An October 2026 Deluxe guest on Agoda described approaching along the waterside to find the parking entrance. A visitor with a car should use the full address and the actual entrance, rather than stopping at the first view of the hotel.
The location can work for a Roi Et city chapter, but a city address is not evidence that Wat Pa Non Sawan or Chai Mongkhon is next door. The former is in Thung Khao Luang district and the latter in Nong Phok. Each requires an explicit road journey from the hotel.
Breakfast is a benefit, with modest expectations
The October 2026 Deluxe guest described breakfast items such as porridge, bread, eggs and coffee, while finding some items depleted after arriving later. A Trip.com guest in October 2026 also praised the staff and thought the breakfast sufficient.
Those are practical reasons to consider a simple morning meal here, not a promise of an extensive buffet or every item at every sitting. The rate’s inclusion should be checked separately. Someone planning an early temple departure should also confirm that the meal’s current serving time fits the vehicle pickup.
An older property with uneven room observations
An October 2026 Superior guest liked the large bed, cold air-conditioning and a bathtub in the room used. Another published 2025 account found the room comfortable with good daylight but thought it needed some refreshing. These comments describe different rooms and preferences.
On Trip.com, a June 2026 published visitor liked the service and breakfast while finding cooling and television performance disappointing. That is a useful counterweight to the positive bed and air-conditioning account. It does not justify calling every room either defective or newly modernised.
Stairs and the immediate streets matter to some guests
An October 2026 Trip.com guest specifically reported the absence of a lift and mentioned that painful knees could make the stay harder. An older 2024 account described the same limitation. Confirm the allocated floor and actual route before choosing the hotel for someone who needs to avoid stairs.
A December 2025 published Agoda account raised concern about roaming dogs on the streets used to walk towards town. That is one person’s experience, not a general safety assessment of Roi Et. It is still relevant if the stay depends on frequent walking from the hotel rather than using a vehicle.
A basic city base with identifiable trade-offs
Rueanrimnam suits a traveller who wants a clear king-or-Twin room decision, parking and breakfast in an established city property. It is less convincing for someone whose priorities are a lift, consistently modern fittings or an unqualified pedestrian experience on every approach street.
Use the hotel for the Roi Et overnight portion and plan the two temple districts separately. The choice works best when the room layout and practical access requirements are understood before the journey, rather than inferred from a general city-centre label.
