Na That Panom Place Hotel is a small-town choice for a trip centred on Wat Phra That Phanom, rather than the riverfront in Nakhon Phanom city. The address is on Chayangkul Road in That Phanom itself. Its appeal is a modest room with access to the temple and local food; the room labels need a little care because several versions of “Standard” are sold.

01

The two Standard descriptions are worth separating

Agoda lists a 25-square-metre Standard with a garden-view description and a double bed, alongside a 20-square-metre Standard King category. That is a meaningful difference in a compact hotel. The names overlap enough that someone choosing only the cheapest Standard label could overlook the floor-area distinction.

The larger Standard lists a seating area, desk and refrigerator, with an exterior-corridor access description. A private bathroom and shower are part of its room details. These are practical features for an overnight temple visit, but a garden-view label does not establish a private terrace or direct access to a garden from every room.

02

Walking access during temple events

A September 2026 Standard-room guest described walking to the pagoda and finding food nearby, while praising the staff. A March 2026 guest separately liked the clean, bright room and welcoming owners. Their experiences support the idea of a locally run, temple-oriented stay rather than a large resort with a broad leisure programme.

An October 2025 returning guest also valued being able to walk to the temple during events. That is particularly relevant to someone who wants to return to the room between visits. It does not mean the same walking route suits every traveller or that a road crossing and entrance arrangement will remain unchanged during a festival.

A February 2025 visitor stayed during a temple worship event and heard sound from the temple, although that guest found it manageable after closing the bathroom door. This is more useful than simply calling the whole hotel silent. The hotel can be a practical location for attending an event while still being affected by the activity that brings visitors to town.

For a very noise-sensitive traveller, the relevant question is the room position and the event taking place, not just the general atmosphere in photographs. The recent positive accounts describe particular rooms and visits. They do not prove identical sound insulation across the property.

03

Bicycles and breakfast should not drive the decision

An April 2022 guest mentioned bicycle rental. Another undated Agoda account described an available bicycle with poor brakes. Those accounts are too limited and differently dated to promise a dependable complimentary bicycle service now. The sound reason to choose this address is the town and temple location, with walking or independently arranged transport that suits your group.

One undated Agoda account said breakfast was not included. That account is not a current meal policy, and the other dated guest reports used here do not establish a dependable menu or serving time. The room and temple access are firmer reasons to consider this stay than an assumed breakfast package.

04

Who will appreciate this kind of base?

The hotel makes sense for a couple or solo traveller prioritising That Phanom itself, especially someone content with a straightforward room and local places to eat. The choice between the smaller King description and the larger garden-view Standard is more useful than treating every Standard listing as interchangeable.

Travellers who want a pool, spa or the facilities of a major city hotel should compare a different style of accommodation. Google’s hotel information lists no pool here. For a visit to the stupa, however, remaining in the district can be a more coherent plan than returning to a room in Nakhon Phanom city after each temple outing.
