Kavinburi Green Hotel review: compact rooms, a rooftop pool setting and guest reports about breakfast, room terraces and bathroom upkeep.

Kavinburi Green Hotel combines a compact central Udon room with a rooftop pool setting that guests remember. The station-and-market area is its practical strength. It is worth considering when a convenient urban evening matters more than a large bedroom, while the shower and breakfast accounts deserve attention before choosing it for a longer stay.

01

The ordinary room is compact; the suite is a real change

Agoda’s Superior category is 22 square metres, sold with a double or twin arrangement. Deluxe Double is 25 square metres, while the Executive Suite is 45 square metres and lists two bathrooms. Those are different propositions: a small increase to Deluxe versus a much larger suite.

For a short city stay, the ordinary room may be sufficient. For two people spending substantial time indoors, or travelling with more luggage, the extra suite area has a clearer purpose. A February 2026 Superior guest described the rooms as somewhat small even while recommending the stay overall.

The guest also liked the room terrace, but that does not make every current category a guaranteed private outdoor sitting space. Confirm the room description if a balcony or terrace is central to the decision.

Expedia distinguishes a 22-square-metre Superior Double from a 19-square-metre Superior Twin, while Agoda’s combined Superior entry gives 22 square metres. The differing labels make a specific bed-and-room confirmation useful when every bit of floor space matters.

02

The station-area address is a useful city choice

An Agoda account published in October 2026 valued the station, market and nearby restaurant choices. A December 2025 guest similarly found the location convenient when arriving by train and liked the nearby shopping.

These reports describe the urban neighbourhood, not a direct connection to Wat Pa Phu Kon. Someone travelling without a car may appreciate the city conveniences but still needs a separate vehicle plan for the temple. There is no verified scheduled service from the hotel to the forest shrine.

03

A rooftop pool is the distinctive amenity

The February 2026 Superior guest specifically mentioned the seventh-floor rooftop bar and pool. The October account also liked the rooftop pool and night views. This is a more distinctive reason to choose Kavinburi than a generic list of in-room conveniences.

It is still a city rooftop setting rather than a large resort landscape. The same October guest thought the bedroom small. A traveller who wants a pool between outings may accept that trade-off; someone prioritising a spacious room should make the size comparison first.

04

Breakfast reports describe different priorities

The December 2025 guest liked breakfast, and the February visitor praised staff service. The October account regarded breakfast as acceptable but found the pre-prepared format less flexible than a cooked-to-order meal, particularly for eggs.

That distinction is useful for guests with a strong preference about breakfast style. The accounts do not promise a particular menu or opening time. They suggest a practical morning meal, with less evidence for choosing the hotel chiefly as a breakfast destination.

05

The shower deserves a closer look

The December 2025 Standard-room guest reported dark mould on the shower head while otherwise praising the location and staff. That is a particular maintenance observation, not proof that every bathroom has the same condition.

The February 2026 guest found the hotel very clean overall. Both accounts can be true for different rooms and times. Treat the shower report as a meaningful caution rather than allowing either one broad positive or one specific negative to stand for the entire property.

06

Who should compare Kavinburi

The combination of a central transport-area address and a rooftop pool suits a traveller who plans to be out much of the day and wants something beyond a basic overnight room. The Executive Suite makes more sense than a small category upgrade when additional indoor space is genuinely needed.

If the stay supports Wat Pa Phu Kon, separate that long road excursion from the hotel’s ordinary city benefits. Agree pickup and return, and plan around the hall’s visiting period. Kavinburi’s strongest case remains the Udon Thani city setting.
