The standard room is already a substantial size
The hotel’s official room page lists Standard Double and Standard Twin rooms at 35 square metres. Agoda gives the same area, with one double bed or two single beds. A traveller needing space for luggage does not automatically have to move into a suite to obtain a larger-than-compact room.
The official descriptions refer to different interior treatments using wood and silk and Thai-Isan or Oriental influences. That means a photograph of one design need not describe every room in the same size category. The bed type and area are firmer comparison points than an assumption of identical decorative details.
Choose a suite for its layout
The Junior Suite is listed at 46 square metres, adding living space. The hotel describes a door that can connect with an adjacent room. A connecting arrangement is a specific request involving the neighbouring inventory; booking a suite alone does not establish that an additional room is included or available.
The Royal Suite measures 70 square metres and is advertised in five designs. That gives a real reason to examine it for more time indoors or a stronger separation of functions. Its title should not be taken as proof that the same furnishings appear in every Royal Suite photograph.
Recent guests describe room comfort positively
An August 2026 Standard Twin guest liked the clean, spacious room, cool air-conditioning and bed, and described a city outlook from the ninth floor. That was one assigned room, rather than a guarantee of a ninth-floor view with every Standard reservation.
A March 2026 Standard Twin account also praised room and bathroom cleanliness, comfortable cooling and helpful staff. The guest found the room larger than expected. The agreement between these individual accounts supports the appeal of the standard category without establishing a uniform experience across the full building.
The complex can simplify evenings
The August guest used the pool and enjoyed the convenience of a mall, cinema and food choices downstairs, together with an evening market beside the hotel. A September 2026 Booking.com visitor displayed through Agoda separately valued the shopping, food court and night-market setting.
Those reports make Sunee attractive for travellers wanting an easy evening after a temple visit. They do not establish that cinema tickets, shopping activities or any separate water-park admission are included in a hotel booking. The guest’s pool use is evidence of that stay, rather than a promise about every facility’s future operating condition.
Breakfast, parking and the sacred-site itinerary
The August account described plentiful parking and a varied breakfast. The March guest also liked breakfast and staff responses to questions. Breakfast inclusion depends on the chosen offer, so its reported quality and its inclusion in a rate are separate issues.
From the Chayangkul Road address, plan Wat Phra That Nong Bua as an urban outing. Do not confuse that visit with the longer journey to Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao. Sunee makes the strongest case for travellers who want a roomy standard bedroom and a busy shopping-and-dining base. Someone seeking a small, secluded retreat should consider whether the scale and commercial surroundings fit their preferred evenings.
